I used my Amex card several times to purchase devices from Apple store before. But I can’t use it now. Apple Pay checkout also doesn’t support Amex. Is it a temp thingy? Anyone has any idea?

Amex payment is not accepted by Apple Store Online at the moment. I noticed they do this after launching the 24 months 0% instalment. Perhaps change of payment gateway.

Definitely a new gateway. Probably Apple removed their singkie source and get it direct with a local source since Apple is opening a new store in TRX soon. Hence the reason why we now have cc installment plan available on Apple.com when previously it wasn’t available.

I think we might have Amex after Apple store officially opens in TRX. Will be weird if they don’t accept AMEX by then.

Nope…. Went to Apple TRX, told the guy I wanna use Apple Pay, purposely chose Amex, it got declined.

The guy told me… Amex cannot. Then I told, Apple Pay not working in Apple TRX? He just smile…
