Maybe,but I'm wondering why it wasn't stated on the signboard and further more I thought the minimum built up size for a rumawip is 800sqft. Also I remember reading somewhere that EUPE was requesting an exception from the 30% affordable housing quota.

Doubt it. It’s a Chinese company and from Kedah to boot. Don’t think they have much political sway. Quite sure affordable component is mandatory now unless you have a large enough land bank to reallocate what you build where.

We'll have to wait and see, I suppose.

Who knows,as Jimmy points out the RM350K houses might qualify as affordable houses.

And if that's the case, we're looking at 440 affordable units out of 1461 total.

I’m sure there’s a sweetener somewhere in the form of a hefty donation or just plain old beautifying the area. Schools are entities too you know and if their land value goes up due to commercial activity it can be a win too.

What happened here? Supposed to launch late last year. All proposed developments here seem to stall.
