1. RM1600 seller set is from Telco with remain 2 months contract.
2. RM1888 is from a retail shop, and looks like an Apple Authorized shop.
Finally I bought the RM1888 set, they provide official company invoice, and it's 100% brand new without activation.
I put my sim card in, follow the instruction to activate the phone. But is not successful, it say Unable to Activate, your iPhone could not activated because the activation server cannot be reached. Try connecting your iPhone to a Mac or to a PC with iTunes to activate it, or try again in a couple of minutes.
I choose to wait an hour and try again, but no luck, still get the same results. I have no choice, then use my Mac with iTunes. It works!! My phone finally activated, but having another problem, warranty status show already expire!!!
I immediately call to the shop, the salesman told me about must call to Apple Malaysia to request change warranty status. Here I really need to say big thanks to that sales person, he is a very polite and patiently guy, he patiently explain everything clearly to me.
I install Apple Support app, and use the function inside to contact Apple Malaysia. Apple request me to email them the official purchase receipt, and say need 5 days to change warranty status. The fact, it took me almost 12 days to change warranty status.
Here is my point, Luckily for me not buying this iPhone from that RM1600 seller, because I'm sure he cannot provide official receipt for changing warranty status.
Just a little personal opinion to those who want to buy cheap iPhone from online market, please think twice before to buy.
1. Make sure it's a brand new set with official invoice from Apple Authorized Seller, try ask serial number & verify at official Apple website, make sure it's not activated.
2. An Information from Apple Support, they will refuse to change warranty status, if that invoice is not from an Apple Authorized seller.
