Hi guys. I need someone to explain something. I have a friend who smokes weed everyday. Recently he got a new job. This job has a pre medical screening test. But they dint not mention to him there was a drug test. So he continued to smoke weed.

On the day at the clinic for the pre medical screening test, he was shocked that they are actually testing his urine for drugs like meth, mdma, ketamine, cannabis etc.

Then the doctor asked him have he done anything. He said he took some cannabis gummies from his friend who came back from Thailand recently a week B4 the test.

He actually passed the test and now is working currently.

How is this possible? Are pre employment drug test for fun?

doc dont want to destroy his future. weed is considered mild since few contries already make it legal, means there's a possibility he went somewhere and "accidentially" consume THC

Maybe the doc accepted his excuse and took account of it in the report. Could also be that hr say the report and didnt really care if its just weed.

What strains do you usually smoke? When i was in Bangkok i bought Alienz watermelon. Tried 2 pre rolls of hybrid as well but these hybrids sucks. I have to smoke 2 joints in a single seating only got mild buzz.

Yup, that's why i haven't drive for a long time. Started driving back recently but rarely use the car also, most of the time driving it to the train station only

I smoked many different strains but mostly sativa, mostly >20% THC. I never buy pre-rolled, usually gets it as free gifts. Never try or see Alienz Watermelon before

If those thing are "not acceptable" by the company then they will not inform him officially but they will just request for retest.

People always know because people "talk" when the result is out.

This also depends on the organization strictness as some will do immediate retest while some provide some grace period.


Example:
In my company case we do have random Alcohol & Drug Testing policy where you can be terminated if you have "Alcohol or Drug" in your when you are at work place.

Hang Over is not accepted explanation if your level is above the allowed country / facility limit.

Even those random test are not actually random because the sure got "human CCTV" watching before testing done just to ensure this was not an one off incident
