my fren from terengganu owns an Xbox, it got spoiled, games shops nearby him cannot repair on the spot, coz it'll juz get sent to KL for repair..
so fren asking favor, he post it to me n i send it for repair..
any good place to repair an Xbox in subang jaya?
anyone knows a common problem of Xbox malfunction and average costs for repair?

xbox 360 or 1st gen? A little detail on the problem might help.

1st gen.. not much details, he only said he kept it in store for a while(i not sure weeks or a month or two), then later tried to turn back on, nothing..

Nothing as in no power? Have you tried turning on the console yourself?

give us a clear view laa..

bro,its my fren's xbox not mine,he's a few hundred kilometres away from me,if it is in my hand i would've given better report..
but its still my fault sorry, i was expecting if there was any MAJOR fault of xbox that i dont know about.. i've never even touched one before lor.. haha...

since u have xbox problem , can i say mine ?

my x box disk tray got 50/50 chance to open now.i clik eject, either its open or its not open. i dunno if the gear inside broken or what , hmm anyone know how much to repair this old 1st gen x box ?

I'd say ditch the drive and use the xbox to stream your pr0n collection from your pc. I haven't opened my drive for ages. I bet ada sarang labah labah dlm tu

1. slowly hit(ketuk) the xbox (above the dvdrom area). give it a try. but dont apply too much force on it.
2. change the dvdrom. if u want, i have 2 extra good condition xbox dvdrom.

alright,i've checked out the problem..
my fren said bought n used for a month, then all of a sudden while playing its juz switched off by itself, then cannot turn on again no matter how many times try, so he kept it in store for almost 2years now..
is there a general problem of this?

my xbox had 120G hdd
also full with mp3,pron and emu only
almost 1 year didnt turn it on

ish ish ish apalah nie...

pron is a emulator to play ps2 game

You could try calling Bernard and ask him whether he fixes the old XBox. Maybe something got toasted on the inside.
