Seeking advice with regards to my current issue.
I'm in an old condo style with grill and wooden fire door + wooden frame.

I'm seeking to repair/replace the wooden fire door and wooden frame due to age and rot.

Anyone has any advice as to what i should be searching for or any contact i can seek assistant from?

Hai there

1) make sure the company has the fire door bomba cert on the product that you selected

2) main door - 1 hour fire rated should be enough

3) fire door have several selection … you can paint finish / veneer wood wrap finish or using high pressured laminated finish ( check your condo house rules on the standardize main door finishes- if any)

4) door frame to be in galvanize metal door frame.

5) get the proper door closer as well for fire door .. since it is very heavy

6) install of door is very2 important specially on the alignment and the door gap… fire door and certain minimal gap .. to prevent smoke from coming in … can’t remember the gap size …
