Kindle is the best though pricey. Look for boox or kobo if don't want Amazon ecosystem. It's very good with black-and-white manga also.

If you read digital comics (coloured) a lot, then Fire tablet is good and cheap, can use Kindle app and read comics on it.

cheap tablet is just bad... especially the screen. (too dim)

suggest to get at least well known brand ie xiaomi, realme, etc.

I know you just want it for reading but it isn't worth it to go for those scam tablets.

Get a decent one.. xiaomi, realme, samsung..

I'm not sure about kindle or e-ink, see their features how you wanna upload your books or which platform you use (apple or google or amazon)

I don't know how they can sell at that price and still be profitable. Still need to pay for commision to shopee, to the agent, shipping, tax etc. Even have Wifi/4G module.
