Gosh, where did you find Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1919) and Nosferatu (1922)??

I've been looking for Nosferatu (1922) forever!!

Interesting note, they are NOT american, they were made in Germany.

Personally, I'm waiting for Metropolis (1927) to be release in BD in it's most entire form on the 16th Nov 2010.

I think it is clearer if you read the book.

The "antagonist" had a suddenly clear insight of his actions and consequences and could not live with himself for what he had done, therefore....

Lost in Space (1998)

A sci fi movie based on a Lost in Space (1965) TV Series.

It is not the first time I've watched this, and I still like it.

Not sure if there are many people here that remembers the original series, Star Trek it is NOT. The movie is decent, with decent cast and decent Special Effects, I have always wondered why a second movie was never made.

Short Circuit (1986)

Ah, Steve Guttenberg in his Hey Day (Police Academy, Cocoon and this)

Very hockey 80s (other favs are like Harry and the Hendersons, Neverending Story, Mannequin, Big and Princess Bride which I never got to see until the 90s) movie and by George I still like it!!

About a robotic expert played by Mr Guttenberg, who is developing "killer/army" robots for the well... the army.

Lightning struck robot Number 5, and it became alive!!

Slapstick ensure!!

I still marvel at the level of automation they were able to create for the movie.

Ally Sheedy was sweet, and the interaction they were able to get between Number 5 and Ally Sheedy are good.

If you had not seen this and want a "updated" and light version of Frankenstein, I recommend this.

Superior Ultraman 8 Brothers (2008)

Gosh talk about a blast from the pass.

Ultraman Tiga, Ultraman Dyna, Ultraman Gaia, Ultraman Moebius, Ultraman, Ultra Seven, Ultraman Jack and Ultraman Ace in ONE movie!!

What more can I ask for???

Less sap perhaps

The dialogue, I have forgotten how sappy the dialogue is!!!

I really cannot see how people in really life can use dialogue like THAT!!

And then, and then we get to see the planet the Ultraman live in, wah, so shiny one!!!

Who would have thunk, Ultraman and their human representation are so... Jedi!!!!

For people who are nostalgia about the past, please consider!

How can something based on an interesting concept, with hollywood budget be so... blah!

Acting blah, execution blah, the whole movie is just so... BLAH...

House of Wax (2005)

Now, I have to be clear, I am NOT a fan of gory and House of Wax is a gory fest!!

There is a highlight in this movie though, Paris Hilton BITES THE DUST!!!

If that is NOT a good reason to watch this movie, I don't know what is!!!!
