Put in for tax rebate. 3k annually for voluntarily self epf contribution. After that, withdraw via epf to buy UT via FSM.

Pretty sure the withdrawal options for account 3 will also be limited and not allowed for things like car purchases

Any fund recommendation?

From the statement you just made. Yes, I can deduced you are newbie.

UT is quite similar to buying shares. Instead of a few shares, the fund will buy a basket of shares tracking some index. The UT price is dependent to the performance of the shares price bought by the fund. Hence, the performance of the % return is dependent to the basket of share prices they bought, there is no certain answer if the interest rate will be higher than epf.

The past few years, most funds already suffered major setback due to interest rate raised + Russian / Ukraine war. The worst of the worst already taken place. It can only slowly become better from this point onward.

Nevertheless, I would not give you any advise to buy. Everyone need to be responsible on their own money.

That's what I thought too. If Acc2 and 3 gonna be split from current Acc2's contribution, I'll just take out from both Acc2 and 3 in future to continue paying for mortgage as usual.
