Which brand/product has the best most durable enamel gloss paint (Jotun/Nippon/Dulux)? I need to repaint some grilles/doors because of peeling from water based gloss/enamel paint which I find is just not good enough, maybe ok for places which are not subject to knocks/scrapes.
From what I see the original ICI paint held up the best. Some peeling from the newer Nippon 9000 gloss and Dulux high gloss. The water based enamel gloss (all brands) is a waste of money except for some specific uses.

I seriously doubt the old apek hardware shops will know the differences in quality among the current big brands. Their shops typically don't stock alot of paint nowadays because of the Mr Paint chain stores.
