How to play video from usb on Sharp Android TV?

As per title, my aunt bought a new Sharp Android TV for my grandma. After I stick in a usb full of mp4 videos into the tv usb slot, it appears as external usb on the tv. The problem is I cannot browse the usb, or even select usb as the source. So how do I watch the videos in the usb ya?

Last I plugged in a usb to a sharp tv. All 110gb inside corrupted

Can try USB hub with TV box.
My current setup is Chromecast with google TV + USB C hub. Add in thumb drive for extra storage and can browse in Chromecast |
