Many years Stubborn Oily Stain left by tenant.

as title.
I try to clean the stubborn oily stain on the wall with dish washer water.... The paint .... Result not good. even d ceiling is dark in color due to smoke.
Any idea how to clean tis thing up?

Next time use expensive one that one can wipe off with wet tissue saja . For yr situation now need remove the paint or paint another layer on top .

Remove old paint and repaint, Is the best way. Or wall paper maybe a good choice?

Getting Started

Try hot water, mix soda bikarbonat, vinegar, apply to the wall, let it sit for 10mins, then wipe and clean

needed to scraped out deep to remove the oil stain... re-plaster back the wall... new undercoat & finally new paint (preferential darker shade colours)
