 can you put stone in the gaps of crack.walls?

just now, i try to.fill in d gap ofvmy exterior wall...

while making a deeper lines,.some part of walls chip off.

just wonder, can I put some stone in this hole ? Thanks

Do i need to put tape after tht.?

I would suggest to use ASG stopping compound or USG before painting.

USG All purpose compound would be better. I repaired my external plaster crack using this one.

Dig out the loose pieces and make new layer using 3-in-1 ready mix cement. No need to headache about the mix or lugging 50kg bags of cement. Just a few kg can liao.
