Just wanna ask is there any difference in sound quality between my original HU vs those android player HU which are sold in market? Ayam not audiophile nor bass bomber but just want to listen to my mp3 collection and radio only. Normally I just listen to mp3 connected to my hp via bluetooth and radio. I have no intention to change new speakers and just looking for basic android player HU without DSP. My car is myvi gen3 bought in 2021, so far I am satisfy with the sound from my ori HU and might choose not to change if not much difference.

Looks like you're happy using phone and your current player that supports bluetooh.

So why you need android player?

The MyVi HU is lousy. Mine when you use Nav cannot listen to any music. rclxub.gif

I change to Android one. Well, any branded or Chinese made one is about the same. They are made in China. No need to be too critical in sound because the noise from outside is much louder. You can buy nay that can do radio and USB for 200 and below I guess.

there is a difference between factory HU and aftermarket, but depends on what model you choose.

go for branded ones instead those ugly ass android 10 inch ones.

but tbh, its not such a big difference unless you're an audiophile and play flac files all the time.

Android player (dont buy cheap spec, buy fast spec at least TS18 2GB)
full range speaker , around RM250 to RM300 , No bass but they enhance clear the human singing voice
active subwoofer around 680 to 800 for awesome kicking mid bass

dont buy from shopee n u will be scammed, goto shop to preview and ask for pricing

I agree with this.. Tbh TS, just keep your money. Spend it on a new phone much better. If not, just get an iPad instead.

Over budget d. I just want to change HU and keep the rest, got shop quote me rm380 including installation which I think is very tempting. But if that means I would lose out on the sound quality I rather not change la

my suggestion to TS

can buy those Linux based carplayer. (cost around RM4xx with casing and PnP wire)
bought for my ativa..

pretty decent player, since I only need the Android Auto/Apple Carplay feature.
And yea, it is wireless also.

Sound wise, it is stock only and the EQ also offer limited adjustment
but I'm okay with it since now I can see map and listen to spotify easily

can still work with factory steering wheel control and Reverse Camera.
