as per topic above, i plan to park at KLIA for 5 days.

from my research, the most idea is park at KLIA long term Car Park @ Block A & B, which charge is Day 1 to Day 3 : RM52/day, Day 4 onwards is RM30/day

I do not plan to take KLIA transit or grab because we are getting early flight and we have 5 person (includes 2 old people and 1 child with luggages).

we prefer walking distance to the Departure hall.

i would just get KLIA limo to book, they are very reliable

1st option. Get friend to send you guys to KLIA using your car
2nd. Get premium GRAB or KLIA limo. They have option for MPV that can cater your capacity
3nd Really? paying RM125 under the hot sun? in El Nino season? Long term parking dekat luar tau not bertingkat

What kind of nonsense cant take Grab early? Cant take old ppl and 1 child?

Just take Grab and get it over with. Trust me it is way way easier comparing to self drive and parking there.

can afford 5 person holiday, another couple of hundred makes no difference..

Book Grab in advance will be the easiest and sensible solution for your case

LTCP have to wait for shuttle bus/Van

Outdoor Long Term Parking is cheaper than the Terminal covered parking at KLIA

But to get to-fro Terminal, got to wait for shuttle.

Have not parked there as most of my trips are one or two nights only, so park at Terminal covered car park.

Best you just book a premier GRAB or ask family/friend to send you all there.

Better don't. Just take grab and go

I paid SGD143 for long term 5 days parking (sheltered of course) at Changi Airport. Same reason like yours - odd hours and with family. More convenient to drive on your own. Forget about what others have to say. When it comes to family convenient is a priority

I still say Grab more convenient and u also dont need to worry car kena curi.
iinm Grab driver may cancel ride if customer slow show, or charge extra but imo still cheaper than parking. Chat driver give tip RM20 sure willing to wait.

When people are willing to spend megabucks for parking people don’t want to deal with all these trivial stuffs dy. Need to open app la, call driver to wait la, teach where is the to pick up location la, borak kosong with stranger driver la, kids throwing tantrum in car la…. Maybe no big deal to you but with young and old family members tug along you just want it quick and easy.

I prefer the convenience of everyone getting off together if take grab.
If ownswlf drive then need to drop off them first only go parking coz iinm parking not near, then not familiar may get lost too.

Why airport parking so expensive one. If limited parking, just build more parking blocks la. Shopping mall parking rm7 per day, but KLIA rm52 per day??? macam no logic sia. it is not like KLIA is situated in KLCC bukit bintang area...

Book grab 7 seater which cost rm120, then get perodua alza......

Noted many asked me to get grab premium, i was a part time driver years before. i know how thing may turn out to be. u order grab premium, those honda accord/ nissan teane may come, u order 7 seaters, Arus/ alza may come. my area dont have grabExec, even can get one, probably a BMW 5 series come... many drivers dont like when have 5 passagers with 5 luggages. if being rejected, i will need to wait longer..

and some also may misundertand, thought i park my car at the long term car park near MAS trainning center. No, i dont because that one need shutter bus. Mine long term car park is inside the building and walkable to departure hall.

PRIVATE MPV arrangement could cost more than RM250 per trip, so my total expense is RM500. By driving my own 7 seaters, my toll and petrol cost less than RM100 plus parking another RM250 (max), its still cheaper.

I just did this last month because whole family of 6 are travelling and our flight is the 1st flight in the morning.

I've been searching/studying for several way to do this and the best way/value is my parking kt LTCP.

At first, then we arrived the airport around 3am, I will drop my wife and kids 1st at the terminal and drive to LTCP. Park there, and wait for the free shuttle bus. It has 15 minutes frequency and operating for 24/7. the route is between LTCP <> KLIA T1 <> KLIA T2 <> (repeat again)

Same thing I did when we want to leave the airport. I'll wait for shuttle bus and get the car at LTCP and drive to Terminal (your family also can get in the bus if they want to experience it)

Total damage is around RM80-90 for total of 4 days.

i guess park at Putrajaya central. take erl to KLIA is not an option since got old people..

Go early, dropped off the older folk then go park in Salak Tinggi.

There is Van Persiaran which cost around RM150-200 per way, definitely can fit your criteria.

I did this on my last trip.

All the while i took Grab early in the morning, as early as 3am

just keep contact of the grab driver you have met before, they are more than willing to fetch you with higher price of course

you can ask around if you are in those neighborhood community whatsapp group for grab recommendation

so this LTCP's shuttle is operating 24 hours ? great, by doing this, i can ave more than RM100 the parking. thanks

yes it is 24/7. just lower frequency trip during non peak hours.

I guess the price to take grab to Airport (2 ways) is almost same as pay parking fee for 5 days ~ TS thinking same price why not drive myself, more convenience for who having family with old and small.

not much option for your situation~ Just drive and go~

i recently just took volkswagen tiguan from socar for 2 hours & drive myself with family of 5 to the klia..once reached the airport just drop the car at parking lot for socar dasher to pickup at decent fee..all in RM90 still cheaper than taking MPV grab/taxi from puncak alam or parking my car at the airport for 1 week..

another option is to park at salak tinggi station then take klia transit. parking only RM 7 first day, following days RM 10 a day. return ticket price adult RM 8.80, kids 6-15 RM 4, under 6 free. to KLIA 7mins, to KLIA2 10mins. LTCP RM 32 a day, might as well park at airport.

Can just book a limo or taxi service.

Velfire for 250 around kv area to klia. Just a simple post on fb and you’ll probably get more than 10 quotes easily.

Drop off at entrance is way more convenient than at carpark. Anyway parking around klia about same price unless u wanna drop off and park elsewhere like putrajaya or other erl station which is even more work.

This is way above TS's budget around Rm350. For me, i will just get 2 Grab which cost around rm70 each. Both arrive right at the departure hall doorstep. you can book ahead also.

Booking Grab at odd hours like 3-4 am is really not a problem at all. Book 2 grabs or grab premium

Bro how they count per day parking? If i masuk parking at 5am means next day 5am is consider 1 day?

One question unrelated to parking, if I were drive to KLIA 1, instead of parking can I just stop at pick up point to pick up my friend? If can where shall my friend wait for me?

follow arrival sign board, then can park.

remind to ask your friend which door he is at. so you can fetch him at the right door.

Just sharing so that it helps others. I had park at KLIA2 car park for 6/7days. Forgot exact but the charges came up to just few cents below cc threshold 250.

I wasn't aware u could take ticket as there was a big signboard "cashless". Hence I drove in n use cc wave. Luckily when I exit just below threshold 250 and I could get out. If more than a week I think u need to take the ticket.

Btw the guard/operator told me if u park for more than 5 days they will lock your wheels to be safe. Saw a few cars with wheel lock. Part of security measure.
