the scanlation groups are so greedy now
they even edit in at the last page to say they are caring for their sick mother and need donations to makes ends meets keks
if a popular manga that is read by 100k people and each donate only $1 he would be richer than ur mum
some times they even get so cringe and put a T/S mid panel and say their lame AF joke or show how ghey they are when male MC take off their shirt
until there are AI that can translate manga well, I consider this project as a failure
I tried to use google lens to translate a manhwa back then but it couldn't even detect the words properly lels
still unimpressed and think its a dogshit feature
who will even use this when they travel and stand there like an idiot with your phone out waiting for it to lock in a 4g signal to translate ur msg to the local

so far, AI translation cannot entirely replace translator bcos AI kenot simply understand context.
