Hi all, currently awaiting for my second child birth this year, planning/exploring confinement centers.

First child, we opted for little precious, no complaints, price is rather on the high side, only cons its an office building set up. Adding on we also visited Esther, but wife prefer little precious that time.

Therefore, open to other recommendation of CC with good review/services and etc. thanks in advance smile.gif

Just sharing from my elder sis experience as she went to LYC, experience quite bad, during covid period, she and husband tested positive at week 2 of staying, have to moved out within the day and come back after tested negative. The back and forth moving in and out can be tiring and discomfort to the mother.

l delivered last year May and went to Olive & Dove (Bangsar). Original was Alora (nearby pavilion kl) but i think they closed down and move my record to their main HQ which is Olive & Dove. The price back then was RM12,999 with big studio unit. The food is ok not like very very traditional type but its acceptable for me. But the baby care side is the best thing i ever had.

1) Food (4/5) less repetition. breakfast. lunch, high tea, dinner, supper (tonic soup)

2) Environment (5/5) clean 800+ sqft studio unit. one king bed room with tv, spacious living room with sofa and tv, kitchen, private toilet, working space. Regular cleaning. This is hotel concept confinement so if visitor come it wont affect any other mummies. so privacy is on top notch.

3) Baby service (5/5) encourage breastfeeding but do not force. take very good care of baby, regular monitor and update and recorded. baby is always look clean and healthy when they send back to room in with me.

4) Mummy service (5/5) i'm a csec mom so they every day morning and night come to check and clean my wound. help me to take the injection (hospital got give some injection to go back take ourself). they are all proper nurse.

5) Other service (5/5) they have doctor to come visit every week on mummy and baby condition. teach mummies about baby milestone/emergency situation and so on. The nurse there is very patient to teach how to handle baby. For example, i request them to teach my husband how to bath our baby and change diaper. They will teach side-by-side and when we request second time demo and hand on they are gladly to do so.
