Korang pernah x temporary increase in credit limit?

Does it mean Kena settle terus before the period of temporary increase ends?

For what reason?

Last time banks only allow if you travel temporarily oversea. Still they will look at your credit record, your savings in the same credit card issuer banks…etc2 for them to approve temporarily

I already got it approved for personal reasons. just want to know the consequences if I actually proceed. Every month pay all outstanding.

u mean u already utilized all ur current limit? so you want to request bank to increase the limit ?

Most banks can convert large transaction amounts to EPP.

Need to fully pay the overlimit outstanding once the statement come out.

can just settle slightly below original limits..

if you have got approval, they would have informed you of the conditions for the temporary approval.
why don’t you ask your bank?.. different banks may have different terms

got applied once for additional rm500, kena rejected.

good thing the seller allow partial cash payment, partial credit payment.

possible reason: the bank dont have my kwsp statement. i never miss my statement payment, yet kena reject so fast.

dont think got this "temporary" feature, u have to manually increase or decrease by contacting the customer service. yet the maximum is depends on your income.

i did it with Maybank long time ago, what i did is that i called them to increase my limit for 2 weeks.

not sure if you need to settle the balance but most likely they expect you to clear it before the lower it back to normal

I converted mine into 0% flexi pay, bank was having the promo. But cant recall whether at the end of the temp CL period, still within my CL.

i think it’s good to settle within the period too.. who knows if you will need again in future…they will look at your past records to decide

makes me wonder if giving me credit card without kwsp document is following their procedure or not, my salary that time were rm5500 something (gross) and the credit limit that i request to increase temporarily were rm5500.

Settle whatever it says on the statement balance as usual, not when the increase limit period ends.

normally you need to have reason for it

for me, was to pay for wedding and funeral expenses

call 1 week before the intended swipe date

you can call 2 weeks if you are not confident of being approved

normally be approved if you have a good record of paying on time, especially if you pay in full every month

EPP still go into your credit limit.
if exceed credit limit, got extra surcharges etc.
