Dasar tol percuma diteruskan termasuk Aidilfitri in



KUALA LUMPUR: Kerajaan akan meneruskan dasar pemberian tol percuma sepanjang 2024 untuk semua perayaan utama negara, termasuk Aidilfitri yang akan disambut bulan depan.


Menteri Kerja Raya, Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi bagaimanapun berkata, bagi mengimbangi perbelanjaan perlu ditanggung kerajaan, bermula tahun ini, pengecualian tol hanya diberi kepada kenderaan persendirian saja iaitu kenderaan kelas satu.

"Sementara untuk kenderaan kelas lain seperti kenderaan komersil, tiada sebarang pengecualian tol diberikan memandangkan harga tiket yang dibayar oleh penumpang tidak menunjukkan sebarang penurunan yang ketara," katanya.

Beliau berkata demikian dalam jawapan bertulis menjawab soalan Cha Kee Chin (PH-Rasah) di Dewan Rakyat.

Alexander berkata, pemberian pengecualian tol bagi tahun lalu membabitkan 53.91 juta transaksi tol dengan anggaran pampasan yang perlu ditanggung oleh kerajaan sebanyak RM206.19 juta.

Daripada jumlah itu katanya, pampasan sebanyak RM41.21 juta diberi sempena Tahun Baharu Cina, sementara Hari Raya Aidilfitri (RM80.07 juta); Deepavali (RM42.31 juta) serta RM42.60 juta sempena Krismas.


"Pengecualian tol sempena musim perayaan ini bertujuan membantu meringankan beban rakyat yang merentasi kepelbagaian agama, kaum dan kepercayaan dalam meraikan hari perayaan masing-masing bersama keluarga tercinta di kampung halaman," katanya.

Umat Islam dijangka menyambut Aidilfitri 10 April depan.

Bulan lalu, tol percuma diberikan selama dua hari iaitu pada 8 Februari dan 9 Februari, bersempena sambutan Tahun Baharu Cina.

Easy, no money, can still proceed, just force the top operator to agree, no income for a few days every year. Don't use gov money to pay operator. If don't agree, sell cheap cheap to others.

When it first started it was given the low traffic days so more people travel those days. Now they give the high traffic day resulting in even worse traffic.

Since it’s gonna be subsidised by the gomen, I feel like wasting a bit of petrol going thru all the pricy tolls like SPE Smart many many times a day during raya for the lulz.

Last time they do, before and after festival day.. really free toll for most ppl's return trip.
This year cny they do two day before cny.. so cost to bear by PLUS is only half as the return trip for most have to pay the toll.

Only gave toll for interstate la . If npe, or AKLEH, kesas for what ?

Raya berapa hari bulan toll free?

What cost? You think the highway concessionaires would subsidise the toll ka? Why do you think you still have to use TNG when going in & out of highways?
