Here we fucking go again. Last year caused a big commotion and I ended up forcing my staff to work and gave them replacement but it caused a mess with my appointments

QUOTE(nazrul90 @ Mar 27 2024, 05:13 PM) Just realize Raya date is pushed like 2 weeks forward each year. So next year Raya is like on 28-30 March. I missed celebrate Raya on November/December. Last time Raya on December like 27/28 years ago. That time celebrate Raya longer due to long school holidays. I don't understand why keep pushing? Why not keep the same date

QUOTE(*lightbringer* @ Mar 27 2024, 05:26 PM) I was in IOI City Mall, Dave's Deli when the announcement came last year. A big Malay family was eating behind us, when suddenly the lady say "esok raya mak." The mak then bebel "kari xmasak, rendang xmasak, langsir xtukar, rumah xbersih, cat belum habis, bla3". They rushed home soon after that. My jiran cat his rumah until 4am yo. I helped him buy lemang, rendang, satay and all. But from what i heard, the sudden raya is still a blessing. Those who endure it can look back and laugh at all those chaos. I honestly miss the togetherness during raya eventhough im Chinese. The past decade and half hasn't been kind to us Malaysians now we are more divisive
