If you are using it to earn meaning you will be spending entire day driving the car.

With Manual transmission you may need to consider if this would cause fatigue to your left leg for clutching. Although I would say eventually you may get used to it that it may no longer become a issue anymore.

But I don't know if the clutch is light on Axia, if it is light like Persona I wouldn't mind and able to drive the entire day without leg fatigue.

Then next is entertainment, since basic Axia does not come with Radio + wiring for speaker too, you may need budget some money for it since you will be spending entire day in car will be bored to not have slight bit of entertainment.

Adding up on top of that, please be mindful that Axia M had the worse safety too, not even ABS.

Maybe u can consider Saga MT? A more comfortable car can push you going extra hours and making life less miserable.

Customer can have peace..

TS also won't know which radio or what kind music (or language) customer prefer

English channel is the generally accepted channel, imagine being in car whole day just engine and traffic sound can be stressful, later not yet 1 week life already feel miserable. Here I would talk more about Driver welfare instead of customer who just onboard for a short while.

I'm driving MT too in KL area, my ride is Persona was considered lucky to own MT with ABS and ESC which is not available anymore, but hey Saga at least have ABS.
About MT fatigue when you get used to it they become part of your life, those who complain about clutching are those who driving auto and only driven MT probably during driving test.

Look at Philippines and Indo, MT still have good market share there even their jam is worse than ours.

In the end of the day daily Malaysian driver will urge u go for AT for peace of mind.

Meanwhile as a MT driver myself, driving MT is tolerable for me in KL area, I started felt a bit fatigue on left leg if I get involved with really long hours like 3 hours bumper to bumper jam, but won't cramp lah.

Right makes sense.. maybe TS go back from long trip, need music.

Btw, auto has ABS right? Only the manual (cheapest) has no ABS I think?

I just checked Perodua site, AT RM38,600, meanwhile MT RM22,000, you get ESC and ABS too for the AT

quite a huge jump almost twice the price... Personally if want MT and lowest price I think Saga more justifiable at 34,000 with atleast ABS but that's a 12k jump almost half of price of the Axia's 22k

But for Perodua strength, they have strong resale value, just your initial payment will be higher, but your net profit when u sell u do not lose much, + AT car easier to sell. I heard ppl who full time grab change car every 3-5 years because of mileage.
