I want to start taking magnesium supplement to try fix my insomnia. After quick research seems like magnesium glycinate or Magnesium L-threonate. Problem is I don't know which brands to buy for, most brands I manage to find on shoppe or lazada only gives around 200mg per day when I'm looking for 350-400mg per day.

QUOTE(jkfoong @ Mar 27 2024, 08:34 AM) 200mg per tablet, take two = 400mg dosage. Which brand gives 200mg of magnesium glycinate per tablet? Most I can find is 100mg per tablet

QUOTE(jkfoong @ Mar 27 2024, 04:47 PM) I was just referring to your original post. I thought you mentioned around 200mg? oh right, but I'm also finding a hard time finding brands that gives you that much dosage. With reasonable price of course

QUOTE(MAGAMan-X @ Apr 25 2024, 12:21 AM) Have you tried the simpler things yet? Example, removing all artificial light and/or sound source, meditation, do not eat 3 hours before bedtime, do not perform strenuous activities 3 hours before bedtime, sleeping in your own bed, etc? What do you eat for your meals? What is your physical activity level? Do you work shift hours? I'm asking because if you don't make the necessary adjustments to your lifestyle, the magnesium might not help. QUOTE(langstrasse @ May 25 2024, 09:05 AM) TS how did you decide that you need this supplement for the insomnia? Did you talk to a doctor or do a blood test? Yeah I'm pretty much just shooting it. Am I doing better now as I'm able to sleep earlier. But taking magnesium is generally good and hard to get overdosed in the first place.
