Hi all, my workers told me they just can remove until this level. Is there any risk if we just paitong and stick new tiles on top of this? QUOTE(stormer.lyn @ Mar 25 2024, 07:46 PM) 1. The new tiles won't be firmly fixed if you stop at this level Thanks for your advise, Stormer.lyn.2. Even I can hack to the bare wall - they're giving up too soon Seemed like my workers are not very good in doing this. At the same time, I asked him to change the toilet seat placement but he told me cannot be done because this subsale old house was using Iron piping for the drainage pipes. QUOTE(bobowyc @ Mar 25 2024, 08:04 PM) Erm. Can hack till bare wall. Then can redo piping... a lot of people do this, but this will cause your wall to be like extra 2inches thick. and not sure if the tiles can adhere to the wall better since there is still old cement left.. best to hack out till you see red bricks or cement bricks IMO. Thanks for your reply, bobowyc! I had bought him new pipes for him to do as well but just that he refused to remove all the existing tiles entirely due to it's very "sticky"One more thing is about the toilet seat placement which currently using iron pipeline, wondering is it possible to replace those pipe if the toilet in the second floor? QUOTE(anakkk @ Mar 25 2024, 08:37 PM) Thanks for your reply anakkk.Unfortunately was recommend by my friend and now only I found out he's incompetent. |
