Actually no point ask this . Main company always subcon to other smaller company then maciam maciam shit also can happen .

You do know that the price of new projects already bundle all these fees + profit taking into their selling price yea. That’s why it’s almost always more expensive than the existing units in the area not to mention increased construction costs nowadays.

Your big name developers who are listed and have a reputation to uphold will probably be the most consistent. Occasional first time developers with something to prove may hit a home run on their first few projects as they don’t dare to price too high. But there’s big risks with them as well.

Good reputation developer is important, at least they will appoint reputable main contractors for their projects…my personal experience HapSeng not bad.

But when Binxstra self become developer... bad news regarding workmanship flowing in

I think more appropriately we should look at their after sales care (defect correction) and also do they deliver the final product as stipulated or even exceed expectations. Did they cheap out or short change buyers? No unit will be 100% on on VP. There should be some nuance to the overall VP experience.
