Hey hey,

Just wanted to point out that if there were any changes performed on a thread, there MUST be reason provided to the TS.
This is crucial to ensure the TS is aware on why the change taken place.

For example: If a thread been removed, the TS needs to be provided with the reason, therefore the TS is aware and learnt what to be done and what not to be done (as a learning).

If there are no reasons / justification provided, mistakes may re-occur and it would not be fair to dear forumers.
By remaining silent while making change to any thread, coming from the perspective of a forumer, it's an abuse of authority and lack of courtesy.

I know the process has been the same since the beginning, now is an opportunity to change the flow to make things right.

we close 30-40 threads a day. you expect there to be a PM explanation for each and every closure.

if your thread was closed, you probably breached the rules (or failed to maintain any sort of moderation in the thread)

if you still require clarification, please email helpdesk@lowyat.net or PM the moderator who took action on your thread to get clarification.

These days transparency is key.

As a moderator, which is a human, they can make mistakes too.

We don't expect to be provided with an essay type of long sentences. Just keep the reason short, simple and precise.

Few of my threads were close under /k/opitiam. Until today I don't even know what's the exact reason.

I can only think of some mods abusing their power and /k/tards agree with it.

What do you say?

Based on our records, only one of your recent threads has been subject to moderation action. Could you let us know what other threads of yours that you are claiming to have been removed?

Many of us been here for looong time.

Of course we are not just talking about just a single thread.

For the past years and all this while, thread been removed without any reason / justification provided.

I knew some mods who are kind and will PM to notify us.

Nevertheless, to provide a short, direct, simple reasoning that will take 2min at most would that be so difficult?

Unless you want to keep us pondering like a headless chicken while most of us will 'assume' other party will be at fault and create hatred.

What's wrong with being transparent? What are the mods / admin trying to hide? Why reluctant to improve?

Can voice your concern please?
