Im currently using it. Yes the sliding mechanism is mooth and definitely more convinient. however Im not sure how it would hold and a melamine chipboard as the gas tank is heavy. mine was directly installed on concrete floor.

The problem is more on how strong is your cabinet hold weight. Most cabinet is just chip board

Thanks for your sharing. Really appreciate it. So now I just need to find more info on the item application for the melamine KC.

ya, that's my concern too.

Actually, if I don't proceed with this pull-out tray, I might install mat that has smooth surface for easy handling of the gas cylinder. still looking the suitable material for the mat as for that purpose I think I need more durable/tough material.

You meant a mat inside the cabinet? The problem would be more on how strong the board at the bottom because the cylinder tank is siting on it. I have no idea how the board is supported. How it is attached to the cabinet sidewall. On the front sideI believe the bottom board is sitting the cabinet foot. So, it can handle weight.

At cabinet sidewall and the back, how the bottom board is supported? On the right right (referring to the picture) the long cabinet plank, if there is no support at the bottom then it would be the weakest point. Anyway, on second thought, the roller base itself can become a strong support heavy cylinder.

If the bottom board is not strong, you can consider adding board layer on top if room permitted to make it stronger.
