Second trouble
https://fortune.com/2024/03/15/ceo-steps-do...urchase-teslas/ Hertz CEO steps down after being hit with expensive EV repairs and low resale prices following purchase of 100,000 Teslas It all has to do with the plummeting resale value of its EVs (due to rapid price cut by Tesla) and the high cost of repair. QUOTE(littlefire @ Apr 2 2024, 09:27 AM) If you really go see their reliability test report, Tesla is never the top. Those supplier doing business with Tesla also knew how much they are squeeze just to meet their target price and cut ways to reduce cost. Reliability is not their biggest problem.Starting the price wars is...Now everyone waiting for more price cuts, very deep cuts.... When you give one more reason for would be EV buyer to wait and see, some will respond in kind to wait and see. |

QUOTE(knwong @ Apr 2 2024, 09:51 PM) Hertz also purchase huge number of Polestar and currently suffer the same like the Teslas. I rented a Polestar 2 Long Range Single Motor for GBP 36 per day last month in UK. Dirt cheap. Fun to drive I reckon that is true, but Tesla is the one who suffered most because they are the biggest fleet bought |

Elon Musk's 'apocalypse-proof' Tesla Cybertruck breaks down just minutes after leaving dealership A brand-new Tesla Cybertruck broke down just minutes after leaving the dealership, leaving its owner fuming. The electric vehicle has been plagued by complaints since it was released The Cybertruck, which was first announced in 2019 and finally delivered last year after numerous delays, has had many complaints since Tesla boss Musk said it was "apocalypse-proof." There have been reports of the car starting rust soon after being bought, and a tent attachment has been called a "huge failure", according to reports in the Express US. Remo's video, called "How my Tesla CyberBeast Failed Under 1 Mile," has been watched over 55,000 times since he uploaded it on Saturday, reports the Daily Star. The screen of the Cyberbeast, a heavier and more expensive version of the Cybertruck, told him to "pull over safely" because of a "serious steering problem" before it automatically slowed down to four miles per hour. There have been reports of the car starting rust soon after being bought, and a tent attachment has been called a "huge failure", according to reports in the Express US. The car is controlled by a steer-by-wire system which means there's no physical link between the steering wheel and the actual wheels. This is supposed to make the car turn tighter, which can make it easier to drive through narrow streets and tight spaces. However, it seems the system isn't working for every customer, as Remo had to drive the car back to the dealership. He later shared that the car let him down "30 times" on the first day, "which absolutely sucked," he added. Owners of the Cybertruck have been met with a series of disappointing surprises after picking up their new cars. In online chats, several people who bought the futuristic stainless steel pickup truck say looking after it has given them a headache. "Throughout the LA rain, I noticed the corrosion was forming on the metal like other people have noted, so I decided to start documenting it and bringing it to Tesla's attention," one user wrote. The Basecamp tent, a tarp that attaches to the back of the truck, has been called an "unpolished homeless encampment" and a "monumental failure" by disappointed buyers. QUOTE(xiaojohn @ May Or4 2024, 01:30 PM) "Big Apple" is a nickname for New York City, USA. This is where NYSE (New York Stock Ecchange), Wall Street, Dow Jones , etc. are located. This place is where American Capitalist money is traded. "Eat your heart out" is an English expression to say when when you think someone (else) will feel great jealousy or regret. Put two together, it means, `Feeling Jealous and Envy? you American capitalist? Looks like Tesla will put more money, time and effort in China I can also say it to the same way to another place or country E.g. Eat your heart out, "Land of Earth or Mother Earth" Eat your heart out, the City of Dreams or the Golden Sparrow You will get a bonus from me if you figure out why I say that xiaojohn liked this post
