Sometimes I have to lift 15kg barbells or more on each side, but it's limited for exact 15kg barbells at gym. Is it ok to press with one side 15kg barbell, another side 10+5kg barbells, or better to press symmetrically even though same weight on both side?

Yes, even same weight, but different distance from the center, it weighted differently due to leverage. Even different brand has different density. Thus it is better to use plates from same brand on both side, I mean you can mix brands, but both side has to be same This post has been edited by helven: Mar 26 2024, 01:46 PM

Moment = Force x distance The plate at the end will be 'heavier' than the plate in the middle
Also why door handles are placed on the opposite side of the hinges
