This not placebo. When stationary n shift neutral to free gear u can literally feel the smoothness. My bike also no shake when shifting.
Car yeah, i not sure is placebo or not. But dyno graphs shows my engine healthy when dynoing using bold oil.

you changed new oil of cos you can feel smooth.

have you compare with other brand?

and compare how it feels after 1000km etc.

Yeah but sometimes can be smooth but oil interact negatively with seals or gasket and cause it to lose certain properties.
Or it sounds smooth but lacking certain additives meant to protect other things.
You'll find out only after some time. Like that girl that drink weight loss kopi. Sure it looks like its working cause she lost weight. Then after a while end up kidney failure.

There is a reason why lubricants can be very expensive. They do many other things other than just to lubricate. It is the most important consumable for an engine.

Ya i understand this.
But spec is good la. Like got halal jakim logo. Then i believe it. Hehe.
The specs are officially approved one. Not inside their own website only one.

I experience same thing as TS. First few km changing gears is rough. Feels like the oil didn't fully cover the clutch. After riding for few km become smooth.

My experience with 10w40, it was smooth for the first 1000km but after that start to feel less smooth.

My experience with 15w50, it stayed smooth above 1000km. But I changed the oil when hit 1500km because I have Shell Power oil.

Going to give Bold another try. Recently bought 4L of 15w50. With voucher it was about RM12/liter. And they gave me free air freshener and fingerless glove.

Moto: 135LC

This round I plan to use the 15w50 oil until 2000km. I don't dare go beyond that. Shell Power oso I use until 2500km only. Shell Long Ride I use until 3000km.

My 135LC engine seems to prefer thicker oil. Currently using Yamalube 10w40, sometimes smooth sometimes not smooth.

Sooo.....i use bold engine oil for my kawaki ninja 250cc now.
After 1000km review.

Before i was using silkolene pro 4 fully synthetic 10w40. Use till 3k can feel a bit rough d especially during changing gears. Its rm46 per Litre.
Now using Bold fully synthetic 10w40 at rm15.90 per litre. Engine spec same ma2/sn.

When i pour in bold, i was a bit skeptical also la. First ride still feel rough when changing gears. But after 10km, smooth d. After 20km, pergghhhh the smoothness beats the silkolene and petronas F900 i put before.

Now at 1000km the smoothness maintain. For motorbike the engine oil is together with gear oil, so the smoothness very apparent especially during changing gears. Fuuuuuuuu, cheap n good.
But i read a few reviews say bold no good for their bike la. Engine rosak after use n whatnot. Thats why i takut takut a bit initially.
2L for bold = rm37.80
2L for silkolene = rm92
2L for petronas F900 = I think its around rm80-100 also, forgot d i bought at petrol station.

Jimat wei. Guna la bold dengan yakin. Sekian

Bro,honestly are you the owner of bold?!?? It seems that you are. Just own up to it. No problem as I think bold is also a good oil.

Last time got people buy the best lorry grade engine oil to use in car. It is cheap.

Currently i am on second oil change using Toyota GF6A 10/30 fully syn oil in the 08 Myvi. It is better than Perodua ori fully syn which is same price. Bought from spare parts shop. My mechanic say the oil is very overkill for such an old engine. laugh.gif My logic is the same price with newer standards.
