KUALA LUMPUR: Convenience chain KK Supermart has apologised over the sale of socks bearing the word "Allah".

In a statement, KK Supermart said it has stopped the sale of the socks made by Miranosock.

"It was a consignment product from a vendor. We have asked the vendor for an explanation."

Earlier, photos of the socks being sold at a KK Supermart in Bandar Sunway went viral, drawing criticisms from social media users, with some even calling for the chain to be boycotted.

KK Supermart thanked the public for highlighting the issue and for their constructive criticism.

"Again, we apologise for this incident and we will ensure it does not happen again."

Slightly related story.

My friend have a Buddha tattoo on his calf. Went to Thailand last year, kena marah and pukul. End up he have to use long pants the whole time he went there.

ignorant, that's what he is. TBH he is kinda weird. He like to eat those food chinese left on crossroad or side of the road during Hungry Ghost Festival. He say free nice food, sometime tasteless. Drink beer like water, but still have nice body. Among my friends, he is the most crazy one.

But i tell u, he is one genius mf. He scored highly in SPM, went to labuan matric with me. He played DOTA all night long, attend class maybe 1-2 times per week just to make lecturer notice him. He even gargled with Jack Daniel in the morning and night. Every weekend confirm lepak beach with beer. First sem, fcker scored 4flat. 2nd sem too. After that went to continue degree in engineering. I thought he will run out of luck, but he can graduate with first class degree. Use to work in big MNC, but after covid he resigned and established his own business.

He even corrected our physic lecturer back in matric. His understanding of math and physic just not on our level, at least at that age. He only need a day to understand the whole sem syllabus. He say its very easy once u grasp the concept.

So when start boycott KK and support 7-11 or Speed Mart ?
