QUOTE(icemanfx @ Mar 16 2024, 09:24 AM) Only if one has kampung house to retire to. i have a feeling the trend in future will be working adult all dwelling in city. those senior will move the other way. sell property in city and buy house in small town. lifestyle downgrade.

QUOTE(icemanfx @ Mar 16 2024, 09:43 AM) Easier said than done. Trade down from 3 bedroom or landed to studio or care home is more realistic and likely. heard this kind of service/business have been booming in the past few years.they have medical team round the clokc. my property agent pren told me there are senior living in big bungalow in kl opt to downgrade to smaller house or care home. but even if you downgrade to care home, can your saving sustain till one's last breath?
