my upper floor living room has a very tall ceiling. i think it goes as high as 25 feet.
i want to build a small mezzanine floor with a walkable floor area of approx 9' x 9'. i don't need it to support any heavy furniture. just need to be able to take the weight of a human, a table and a laptop.
how much will it cost?

similar image below to show a high ceiling.

Cost depends on material use... if wood structure, then it is cheap, but will have those bouncy effect... if metal it is more sturdy but price increases. Next level is concrete... include loads of labour and price is the most expensive. Looking at your size... probably is a wooden structure, should cost around RM10k

nice concept. if you have kids, they'll probably make it into their secret base or something. got to kid proof that place so they don't get injured.

Best do concrete structure. May be more expensive but worth it. Turned ours into a library.
