Don’t dream about 20k in Malaysia as a freshie. That happens only in front office, and pretty senior one at that. If you’re in middle or back office roles (risk, credit, reporting, ops, etc), then you might get 20k if you get to senior assoc, ie promoted twice)

AADP is a 2 year program and you rotate every 6 or 9 months. The pay should be 5.5k? Might be more now.

The downside is you are NOT guaranteed a role after 2 years. You have to find a dept that has an opening.

A lot of AADP leave after their program ends. But u do get to network quite a bit, and they will ask you to organize events, mostly sports club, or some club events.

Hello, I’m entering uni this year and am wondering if JPM Malaysia and other top finance MNCs have internal transfer programs (eg to HONG KONG, SG , etc)

I heard the pay in HK is better (after tax and all) , but would like to start from the Malaysia office since entry to HK firms are too competitive.
Thank you!!
