If you can repeat the humming sound to Nissan service technician during the test drive, then claim them to fix it whether its bearing or tyres...
But I scare Tan Chong tactics is leave your car here for 2 week for our technician to check the problem.

QUOTE(SportyHandling @ Mar 9 2024, 10:56 AM) Weird that the noise disappeared with the Michelin XM2+ since the UC6 was reported to be silent with other vehicles. Perhaps it's the rim design of the Almera or something else that caused the humming sound on the Continental UC6. Tan Chong should have fitted other brands of tyres on the Almera if this humming noise is consistent with all Almera turbo models. Seams like opposite for me:- my wife city used XM2 the noise is damn loud but my insight used UC6 is so quite and comfort. Maybe different size tyres or different car have different results. Tan Chong used UC6 could be to meet the made in malaysia criteria. xm2 from thailand right? This post has been edited by ads398: Mar 11 2024, 07:08 PM
