I will not use RFID until the toll plazas are without barriers or unless thr RFID lanes outnumber the SmartTag/TnG lanes. I think the reason is pretty obvious.

you mean you are replacing your "early-adopter" RFID sticker with replacement? the one hoo-haa-ed about, late last year?

it's just them preventing wear-and-tear. and as a thank you for being pioneer. i don't think later adopters will get replacement like them early-pioneers.

ktards: why malaysia so late adopting latest technology

also ktards: i will not join in the bandwagon until later.

also netizens: why must we pay for the RFID stickers? make it free.

also ktards: we don't like the company behind TnG/RFID/eWallet. give us options.

FYI, it's people thinking like you that makes it impossible to move from old tech. we cannot move to gantry sooner because planners kept getting hobbled by 99% of people who refuses to move and they keep having to make escape planning for you guys. last time want to move to RFID, then because of resistance they backtrack to make multi-payment-method available, which, we end up with having to tap credit/debit card just like TnG, again. So when can we temove the plazas and the barrier gates?

actually, why you call it "newer"? your question is vague as we can't relate.

what makes it "newer" than whatever "older"?

I thought I was one of the early adopters, went and buy a replacement RFID sticker expecting a partial refund, manatau I'm not and kena scam by TNG. Now I have one unused sticker and needlessly spent RM 35 for nothing.

why u never try? the process is so smooth and in highway usually there is 2 for u to use, don even need to queue and open window for it.

the more u drag the longer it will take to outnumber tng.

My RFID sticker since pilot phase (2018) until now still working

I can count the amount of failures with my fingers. Mostly is due to the scanner itself

It's wishful thinking.
I've said this many times and I'll say it again: in a nation where people proudly don't even settle their summons from authorities who can make their life difficult, it's wishful thinking to wish for barrier-free toll system.

I just bought RFID through Shopee, RM5/ discount.
Mounted on my top left hand inside of windscreen using the RFID holder, also bought from Shopee.
So, far works fine. No issue.

If you need to slow down the car until almost stop, then you are doing it wrong

People go into RFID lane without stopping one.

People like you that like to stop at RFID lane causing jam at the RFID lane

Please be more civil and do the right thing

You are part of the reason why Malaysia still 3rd world country

You are just bad examples of human being

No, I do not need to stop, but of course need to slow down to let the boom chance to open.
Very smooth I would say, no stopping or hogging on the RFID lane.
My front windscreen not tinted, so no signal interruption at all.
