I went to the concert last weekend. Can't imagine how much profit they made from this. People were queueing everywhere. Hotels are so expensive like 2 to 3 times more expensive than usual and flight ticket also cheapest around 250++ even if you buy it 3 months earlier while normal time you can get as low as 70++ when you buy 2-3 weeks earlier. Good for their economy thats why they willing to lay 2.5M per concert for exclusive rights.

Malaysia used to be cool and the first destination for international artist to come whenever they include SEA in their tour. Even the previous Red tour back in 2014 also Malaysia included but nowadays pop singers rarely stop here probably cause a lot of rules and regulations set by the government (need to be strict or else some people will demo and protest. Walaweh the harmless Coldplay also got people protest lol)

I remember Selena Gomez came here and she was told to wear a modest outfit lol. We becoming more backward as everyone trying to be the moral police nowadays.

Even Billie Eilish baggie outfit also these Puas lebais complain lah.  doh.gif

Coldplay made 50mil from Msian tour. Also we had the highest 81k attendance for any Coldplay concert. This shows the potential for Msia to be a central concert area for SEA. Cambodians, Filiponos, Indons, Thais all came here to witness the concert.

Tbh the concert experience at Bukit Jalil is far better than at Singapore stadium after I went there (SG stadium) for two times this year (Coldplay and TS concert). We Malaysian been handled 80k crowds regularly at BJ for football matches and concerts since forever so we have no problem handling and controlling a lot of crowds. Plus BJ also more open and wider so you dont feel really crowded even with 80-90k people being there at the same time compared to SG stadium.

lol she won’t come here la

how is her team gonna price the tic? ringgit is so weak, cant even possibly sell cheapest tic at RM300 ($65 which is still lower than the cheapest sold in AUD & SG)

she won’t earn here

Put the same price as SG but convert to RM lah. You think concert goers in Malaysia poor or what? Coldplay got no problem selling their tickets here (almost the same price converting to USD in every country). It's not like her target market is some jobless PAS men.

Ed sheeran only attracted 12k to BJ

Coldplay concert in Malaysia was their biggest selling ever at around 81k crowds. Final football match for Malaysia Cup or AFF cup also easily more than 85k crowds (full house). Ed Sheeran probably not popular enough amongst youngsters plus the concert not being promoted well. Some of people around me who are regular concert goers don't even know Ed Sheeran came.
