The individuals concerned have been given leave of absence commencing from 26 June 2024. PIBT will continue its business as usual with an interim executive management team led by
Dato’ Ikmal Hijaz Hashim, the Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman of PMSB who has vast experience in the highway industry.
The combined expertise of the said executive management team will ensure that the stewardship of the Trust will continue smoothly.
The Board of PMSB is of the view that there will be no financial and operational impact on PIBT operations. The Board will make further announcements as and when there are any developments in relation thereof. PMSB continues to be committed to maintaining the highest levels of integrity and corporate governance.
