Necroing but iirc Legend of Speed has really few "actual" driving scenes. The accident where Ekin Cheng lost his gf was bad cgi, the race up to that point was just Simon Yam tailgating him.

The ending was corny and just involved Ekin stepping on the gas and letting go of his fear or something. And Simon Yam somehow lost his nerve to chase? Or his car was too underpowered? who knows

Thunderbolt is disjointed yeah because of the obligatory fight scenes but it had actual real racing
