Mostly its because the before/after look of most girls with make up is quite huge. Even if its "natural look"

Generally speaking la, more make up you use, the worse the skin will get. So need to spend more time/money on skincare as well just to maintain the quality of the skin. Might as well just maintain the skin to begin with, and get better results.

My wife doesn't use much make up, at most just to conceal dark spots under the eyes and a bit of eyebrow drawing. No other stuff, and she looks better than most people with full make up on attempting "natural look".

You need to compare when there's no make up.

You'd be surprised how much make up some women have to put, just to make the skin look normal. Without the make up, skin looks damn bad.
