Hi all, wondering anyone installed a ceiling fan in thd kitchen? Thinking of it but worried if the wind will disrupt the gas stove burner.

Thank you in advance.

PS: I did a search but didn’t find anything relevant, if this has been discussed before appreciate if you could point me in the right direction.

Sorry I forgot to add some details, we have ventilations and all, just no air conditioning. It’s not about the cooking.

Just that last weekend we had some big number of guests, my wife spent quite some time in the kitchen cooking but with the current hot weather it wasn’t very comfortable for her (I helped of course).

Thinking for solutions, ceiling fan was one option hence the thread because it’s cheap. Wall fan suggestion is good we’ll think about it.

It’s a big area for air conditioning but that will be our last resort.

Join the induction cooker club then.
Fan not affect flame

Used induction cooker for 10 years, when we moved to this new house we thought of going back old school.

Although some commente here say it’s not just the flame, but can makes a mess of the kitchen and smells. Just need extra care.
