3 years ago before MCO, I met these 2 dogs in Pasar's longkang as they lived inside. Hence I rescued them in hope that to find adopters but they were not in good look and no one was willing to adopt.
I keep them until now and they are very handsome and happy!

good for you...my plan is to bukak shelter and rescue the strays/neuter them and let them live their life running around....at least better than getting rocks thrown at them

Banyak kaya. I feed 10+ strays also feel susah. Can't imagine 120 dogs. 1 dog eat like 5 cats portion I think.
Puchong site 6-7 stray. 20kg kibbles - 1 bag per month. Someone else pun ade yg bagi makan. I knew one ah neh come bagi makan nasi ayam every now and then , chicken head, neck carcass masak with rice. After they makan bersepah, ah neh clean up.
Paling jialat is trying to put iodine on their wounds from fight/beaten ... knn @#$%&*

Didnt feed them on the daily basis, only when Im at the site which is like 2,3 day a week.
Not sure bout human complains but I dont think so as Ive never sees them kacau human, fight among different gang is like a daily walk in the park, kejap2 gaduh.

All my female dogs have been neutered at private clinic. Each costs RM180 without overnight and medication.

Reputation precedes animal life.
SOP is SOP. Human and rules are live. We can change to adapt environment and situation.
I also discontinued to login into FB. The more I watch, the more dogs I will meet up and keep. It is over my capacity in term of manpower and financial. That is why I stay low profile, to avoid public is still seeking for rescuing dogs. Rescue is ease but who gonna jaga them for the life if they are not capable to be released back to the street?
I work 365 days without resting. Even CNY, I have to work for them since morning until evening. Then I will do meditation at night and work for money.

Can see your dogs are looking very happy. You've cared well for them. As for me I have only adopted one so far and I've to say strays are actually smart and have more feelings for people. Wished I can do more but even taking care of a single dog is already hard. So I'm impressed with your effort!!!

yes, it is like taking care of 120 babies. I pity them for hunger in the streets to find food. Hence, I started this journey but it is one way ticket.
I sacrifice my time and own funds for them. All the while hoping can hire someone to help me but I have been waiting for years...
To employ someone, many issues too and a bit hard to get someone who won't create to me.

As for me, I rescued a few back then and successfully rehomed 2. We took in 5 but 3 of them passed away too due to illness several years later. I hope the remaining babies will live longer and healthier.

Kibbles. Considering the time cost, I have no further time and energy to cook. I spend over 8 hours a day in my shelters.
Yes, especially male dog with male dog. Hence, need to split those dogs that bo ngam (tak selasi) into separate room. Can't mix one, sure fight till die.
Those ngam one will be the same room or mix around together in open space.
However, during feeding time, fight will happen in sometimes like this. In order to protect them from gigit mati, I will split them no matter how.
I set this dogs fighting issue to avoid unforseen issue.

Definitely. If you divide the kibble cost per month per dog, it costs less than RM40.
Few years ago I launched the plan to get adaptors to adapt the kibble cost either for 1 dog or many, but need to contribute per month. But many can't consistent to contribute RM40 per month. Many stopped after 2-3 months without sponsor although they knew about the program/plan.

Previously our company had 1 or 2 dogs. Moving to new factory, decided not to keep them in enclosure. Problem arise when they bring in new friends to feed together. Took a lot of time to advise my uncle to stop feeding them since they kept bringing new friends and even start breeding.
Then got one stranger lady who loves dog. She always seen walking her dog. Problem is she start feeding them even when I told her to feed them elsewhere. Put the foods in front of my main gate, sometimes directly on the entrance. She doesn't even wait for them to finish and clear the newspaper. She even went into a shouting match with me accusing me of hating dogs. She doesn't even understand the problem we are facing. Puppies sneak into our factory, shit and pees everywhere and even on our stocks (steel). The smell and hygiene become a big issue for us.

This is the issue many people are facing because the feeders did not think on the other sides. That is why, they made reports to Majlis to catch the innocent dogs.
If everyone is understanding each others, try to communicate in a better way so we can resolve the problems that everyone is facing and at the same time, can avoid the dogs from being caught and PTS.

Feifei is an abandoned dog. He has lived in a deserted area since he was a puppy. After I found him, I started feeding him. It wasn’t until one day that I realized he was living in a ditch. I felt sorry for him and tried to figure out how to rescue him back to the kennel. You see he is a smiling dog, but he will bite if touched. When we caught him that day, I were bitten too. He is now living in my kennel happily.

Many people may be curious as to why I rescue dogs and take in dogs. In Butterworth, there is a landfill and there were a lot of dogs living there. I were told that if the dogs caught by Majlis could not be found in their kennel, you can try to search in the landfill. Sometimes, they will dump the dogs to the site. Since then, I started to feed them (somewhere in 2019) and started the journey.
When I have time, I will share stories.

Dog owners should know it is not easy to take care of a dog. You are not just feeding, you also need to provide medication care, like worms, ticks, vaccination (annual) - to prevent from viruses and bacteria...
Ticks treatment is expensive and once there is ticks, all kena...
My friend Ah Mun (left) started MunMun Furry Sanctuary he gets some kibbles sponsored you can check in FB to ask them as well.
I know all of these. Not all people have such lucks to get sponsorship from donors.
Donors tend to see if the environments and dogs are well cared, they will not donate.
I build good environment, take care the dogs well from sincere and bottom heart. Very less people will consider. These give them the impression that I am rich.
i found this dog abandoned wandering in front of the place i used to work after 1 year of 2pcs fried chicken for breakfast and 2pcs fried chicken before i go back home took it grooming as well, named him Teddy
so miss him as he follows me everywhere i go and guards the place I work, adopted by my colleague

My kennel needs expansion so I can combine other kennels to reduce my costs. I am still working hard to "keep money" for this expansion.

Admire what you are doing for the strays.
However disagree with kennel or shelter expansions as they will fill up to maximum capacity within months.

No, I am no longer rescuing anymore. This expansion is to combine my other kennels. I have total 4 kennels, in total of 120+- dogs.
i've been thinking of volunteer at SPCA Ampang. When to visit the place last December, the place looked lacking maintenance & worn down. Made a small RM 100 contribution before leaving.

There was one hit by vehicle and kena spinal injury. The dog was left over on the road and no one rescued. I knew about this and rescued and sent over to KL (Animed Vet) Dr Hoo for operation. However, the dog is still unable to walk and he is currently placed in my home for the rest of his life.
Total spent for operation cost + post-operation + Physio = > RM25k.
That time I gathered donation from FB. Total donation collected just RM3k. The balance of cost, I have to bear it.

Before I found the land to rent out for my 4th kennel, I asked YB to assist me to get a vacant land in ULU area but the YB told me to go Pejabat Tanah and requested it myself.

It is very hard to start business in Shopee. If you are new, your ad can't appear in the top 5 pages but mostly at last. You need to have sales, volumes and traffics before it slowly goes up.

This female dog, around 6 months old, hanging around in one of a Taman in Butterworth. One of the residents requested me to assist to bring for neutering. I rejected to assist, because I know once I see the dog and I will pity then bring back to my kennel.
However, I still went to assist yesterday to bring her for vaccination first before neutering. The resident told me this dog is very friendly to people but likes to chase motor rider. They wanna throw her to other place.
With this incident, I know this dog will be taken back to my kennel but I am still undecided. That is why I always reject to help others.
She is very cute, friendly and listen to command. I hope anyone here can share to get adopter for her before they take action to throw away.

After they were taken back, I made video for them to look for adopters (somewhere in 2020) but I can't find any who were interested to them.
Luckily I can get back all photos and videos where I have made for the dogs!

for big kennel like you to push for adoption…i think better to take photos and record video of them individually when alone with u, and video of them living with other dogs.

Local mix is the main reason. I rescued branded breed dog and the responses were too good. But for local mixed, the responses were low.

If the look is so so, no one will ever adopt it. BTW, I am not looking for any adoption now. I just shared my past stories.

I like the IcSee but Auto tracking is a mess even until now...i tried IcSee5G pun sama...IcSee Pro also not ok...
ICsee app overall ok....but until now Auto tracking is always after 2 to 3 hour NOT in correct position....
O kam is the best so far......CCTV is the best...Clear .....amd the best Auto Home always accurate because there is a option to set it to pre-position that you select... Using the Hawkeye brand

according to some professional dog trainers, they dont actually "understand" what we say literally, but they are quite sharp at sensing our emotions / feelings towards themselves. so they repay to us according to those emotions / feelings.
but there are cases where they "misunderstood" or wrongly sensed such emotions / feelings & did things which are bad in our eyes.

Thanks. Hopefully many can support me, as I need to sell 300kg a month or 10kg a day (50 packs a day) so I can cover my kibbles expenses. But to sell 50 packs is highly unlikely now as traffic from Shopee is very slow. I am still not in first 3 pages.

If not mistaken, lalamove macam cannot take dog one. May be pet taxi but pet taxi from KL to Penang needs at least RM300-500 on private trip/single.

SOS person and another person will try to rescue / catch the dog tonight. He said MEEFA might want to take in the dog in their shelter. He told me that vet sponsor only willing to sponsor RM 1k for the vet fees. I told him I will help him get the balance of vet fees (hopefully not RM 5k). RM 2k vet fees still ok as I just need to obtain RM 1k balance..

All my female dogs have been neutered at private clinic. Each costs RM180 without overnight and medication.

if our assumption is true that the dog left front leg is broken & surgery or multiple surgeries is needed, i reckon it won't be just only a few thousands. but hopefully the treatment doesn't need any surgeries & the fees are minimal.

It is not an easy task when the dog is not friendly to human. Need tools to catch and spend time too.

SOS fella enlisted a kind Malay guy who helped him to catch the injured dog this morning. The Malay guy has all the tools like net and cage as he has been saving dogs previously
I got the contact and Whatsapp the Malay guy offering my thanks and gratitude for saving the dog. I offered some money for his work and trouble but he rejected me. God bless him. Wish there were more ppl like him

have you tried to include a short version & mission of your dog rescue story on your shopee page? stating the funds raised by selling the nuts all go into helping the dogs, maybe this can help a little.

This female dog, around 6 months old, hanging around in one of a Taman in Butterworth. One of the residents requested me to assist to bring for neutering. I rejected to assist, because I know once I see the dog and I will pity then bring back to my kennel.
However, I still went to assist yesterday to bring her for vaccination first before neutering. The resident told me this dog is very friendly to people but likes to chase motor rider. They wanna throw her to other place.
With this incident, I know this dog will be taken back to my kennel but I am still undecided. That is why I always reject to help others.
She is very cute, friendly and listen to command. I hope anyone here can share to get adopter for her before they take action to throw away.

Yes, this is their ability to smell. Otherwise, human wont report to authority to catch them when making. Male dogs can fight each others until die. Hence, neutering strays is very important!

Myself is also a videographer and editor for events, news etc. I have a lot of dog's videos. The problem I encounter is, I am very tired after finish all the stuff at evening. It is like working 8-10 hours a day without rest for 365 days in a year.
After go home, take rest and very tired to use mind to do videos... Unless I am able to hire foreigner in helping me.

In the past, I introduced kibble adoption program for a dog, whereby you adopt a dog from my kennel, I help you do feeding and caring. You pay RM40 per month for the meal of the dog. I just need to find 100 adopters so it can cover my kibble cost.
When I started the program, I need to fb live video everyday, like doing show to show to donors so they can accept the kibble meal adoption. I was very tired. It was like a beggar to beg them. Doing movies show blah blah. If you didn't do show for a day, there will be no donation at all. This is not I wanted.
I managed to find about 10 persons only. But they can't last for months. They stopped in the middle.
I know donations is not the long term solution for rescuers life. I need to find something so I can earn from myself and support for all the expenses.
Hence, I started to sell my nuts. Although the profit earned is very minimal, at least I didn't ask from public for nothing.
My nuts are very fresh and crispy. You can buy and give it as gift to your friends, co-workers etc. When everyone spreads about it, it helps .me a lot. My surroundings friends suggested many things, like why don't you get permanent job blah blah. But they never ask if I need contributions.
It is not I don't want. I can't. Even I wanna hire helper to help me, it is not easy. Some dislikes dirty, some dislikes dogs.
Accident may happen like dogs fighting and died if can't manage to handle. I encountered many times and I don't want to regret if this happens.

This dog named Ah Ah. She was rescued near my Taman at about 3 months old. She was weak when I saw her in the street. So she was brought to vet for treatment.
It has 2 years but she is small size dog!

I was contacted by a famous social media channel that they are interested to capture and interview me on how I manage my kennels and dogs. I know this is good opportunity as it can help my cashew nuts views/sale. However, it could direct to other problems when the story is broadcasted.
Hence, I am in the consideration if I wanna accept for interview and video capturing, but most probably I would not accept. I am a very profile people and I am not in a good appearance when it comes to video/photo blah etc.

he's a large black shepherd, i think he's already an old guy but very friendly & loves company & playful. he doesn't have a name yet.
currently kept separated in a different area for temporary quarantine before allowed to mix / interact with other dogs.

My friend have a pet asked pet phycology long time ago punya story, at the end the pet die on hidden illness the pet phycology not once telling my friend because the pet have pain related everything speech out from the phycology mouth mostly unrelated

Why I have this thought? I recall all the moments of the dogs that were passed away, due to accident, sakit. Some were due to my careless etc. If there is time machine, I wish I could return to that moment, and escape from those incidents.

seems like you are having very hard time to let go of the past & taking the blame onto yourself. it's not a good sign for mental health if this prolongs further. you know accidents do happen, there are too many things / elements which are out of us human control. maybe change a bit POV, at least you had chance to spent time with them & show them love. feeling grateful of the time & company you had with them is better than dwelling on their leaving.
To be frank, I am very tired. My life circle is now to take care until the end.
I woke up everyday, to kennels and do until evening. Go home, take a rest, meditation, chanting, sleep. Then repeat the same circle.
If I have choice, I prefer to be what I should be like before I started to feed dogs.

Some dogs I took 1 month to reheal, some 2 months, some 1 year.. some even now is still rethink.

Ya, I have thought of sick or whatever KO. If really happens, may be need other NGOs to come in and take over me.
Auto feeders do not work as my dogs are super active and noty. The machines will be broken within day.

When you try to adopt from street, take home and monitor then 7-14 days, provided you do not have other dogs. Otherwise, it is better to separate and quarantine first to avoid distemper and parvo viruses. If they are active without issue, can bring for vaccination.

Yes I have kids so cannot simply bring home without vet precheckup. My area really many strays.
Sometimes I wonder... Are ppl exploiting them? Because I saw some pet shop owners feeding the strays... Then adopt the puppies and put for adoption. When adopt them pays for the vaccines, charges etc

dogs punya viruses can't spread to human, only bacterias but bacterias are around us, not just from dogs.
Hence, wash hand frequently after touch the dogs.
If the dog is still active and can take food, even you bring yo vet, the test kit can't detect the viruses if there are, until certain days (1--14 days - count from the moment you take back. Like human de COVID, once kena, It won't show the signs and detected until certain days.

I have a team of dogs that are very noty and suitable to care and give away. They are now in my kennel but in view that I am lack of manpower, I decide to give away, so both can be benefit.
1. They take care of the garden; 2. I am free from their disaster

Even those SPCA or other shelters, they give once a day too and their kibbles given could be low range one. Pity right?
At least, I still give them the kibbles which are above medium range.

When I planned before was, to setup one CCTV and linked it live to let everyone sees. This will prove my existence + the dogs + how I take care of them daily.
Reason: I am very tired ever day because I work non-stop for many years already. I dunno when I can sustain. It is a very tired job as I need to concentrate to jaga them to avoid fighting...

Automate doesn’t mean the machine or anything need to be near the dog. It can keep far away and channel over.
Your age not getting young. Need to think how to reduce the task and sustainable.

Otherwise, I won't sell peanuts and cashew nuts to help a bit. As their costs are long term, especially when they are getting old, I am getting old too, I need to spent a lot of money and time to take care of them, like how we taking care to our parents.

The concrete floor is not cheap. Last year I asked someone to quote, just human workship = RM6k for all floor extension, excluding material cost.
wouldn’t it be practical to concrete the floor until the edge of the fence first?.. this way the dogs cannot dig under… budget one enclosure by one enclosure.. finally budget for the fence… after the first enclosure is concreted, put the dogs that love to dig first inside… after that you have a solid flooring

There are three areas to be done:-
1. Restructure the fencing into bricks wall so the dogs from both areas won't see each others and fight in between. I am unable to concrete this floor anymore as it is very large. No budget too.
2. Extent two vacant areas into few rooms (with concrete floor) - This is to migrate my 3rd kennel into here so I can save my time to run there and here.

if only the M can become less extreme about religious matters & stop being over sensitive on trivial matters, then dogs can have a better place in the country. just compare ours to other countries which majority not M, dogs generally do get better care & attentions. not trying to bring in 3R but its fact which observed by comparisons.

Unfortunately, I have to stop selling due to unsustainable especially when it comes to issues and lost Vs the time involved.

i think u need to get rid/isolate the dog leader who started the fight 1st.
fighting is inevitable because it's their nature to fight for most resources.

My kennel has two areas - Area A and Area B separated with the fencing which I am going to replace with bricks.
I will handle a room in area A and at the same time, a room in area B, so dogs take turn to do their own stuff after feeding.
Then clean their rooms from area A and then B. Then repeat it until all rooms are done.
So I have to walk far away each to complete both areas at the same time. If I have helper, he can do area A and I do area B. Then 50% time is saved.
do u switch dogs in area a to area b and vice versa? switch area to exchange smell, share territory.
and i saw no heat insulation under the roof, do you have fan for the room? (i understand it's due to money issue again).
try put a table fan on floor to make the "dog leader" rest in front of the fan, might reduce fight too. malaysia weather so hot, human also easier panas baran.

No, dogs in area A will be forever over there without switching to B. Dogs in area B are more Ok because they are good. Seldom make masalah. Only dogs in area A are bermasalah.

i have 3 cases with serious injury, 2 died and 1 died due to my mistake.

This dog has her own kennel downstairs but most of the time she will be out joining other dogs in the area.
2 days ago she came back with skin abrasion around her mouth. It doesnt look like she is in great pain, but sometimes she will scrape her mouth against tarred road.
Can anyone advise what is this? Should i be worried? She is eating and behaving normal so I am not sure if this is something serious, or it can lead to other serious conditions?
