The same reasons like those 18650 battery operated fans why some so fast battery finish. Its the fan problem not battery.

My Casio Watch DBC-32-1ADF used Panasonic CR2032. It last 9 years 6 month. Just replaced battery on Nov 2023

energizer the best. used it for my car keys. last time used diy around 2 3 months start to lose power. energizer i replace once a year.

last time customer wanted long lasting solution for their product, i propose CR2450. got designed in and now order in batches for 3-4years liao.
