after i sold my property, other than water, electricity, indah water accounts, what other things required the transfer of ownership?

what about cukai tanah and cukai pintu, as a seller(owner), do i need to do anything on these?

By local council, I mean city council like MPPJ, MPKJ, DBKL etc. They impose cukai pintu, aka assessment tax.

for local council, we call it Borang I. It is done by the lawyer.

Utilties will be changed by the new owner themselves.

assessment = cukai pintu.
quit rent = cukai tanah

lawyer will charge if u ask them to do for u like assessment, IWK, TNB, Syabas etc. better DIY.

Quit rent is automatic change name once title transfer.
