Your last picture seems a bit noisy. Is that caused by ISO boast?

I didn't go to his funeral. Besides I don't know him in person.

The buildings' colour was too wash out to my liking. And the Genting Hotel was having scaffold all over the outside.

Yeah. Damn noisy. Imagine taking at ISO800 with S3IS biggrin.gif
Lot of post process on that photo to reduce noise.

That was taken during the Reindeer Ride. It's too dim even at F2.7, in order to use 1/30 to prevent blur, ISO800 was used. I've taken a dozen, but I only keep this one. Yes, I like the perspective too.

Could it be the reindeer ride was shaky instead of his hand.
So he got no choice but to use faster speed.
I don't know I'm just guessing.

Anyway nice shots. Feel like going for a shoot out myself.
I like the 4th and 6th one.

I didn't bring my tripod along. Spending minutes in taking one flower also kena complain by my wife liao, so I couldn't imagine if I spend more time setting up a tripod sweat.gif . Besides no space inside the Reindeer Cart.

Yeah, you are right. The cart was moving fast enough to blur my shot if I'm using anything slower.

Genting,
i dont mean to break your bubble but your shots looks like normal snapshots.... only pic that you could try to improve is the last pic...try to go wider if you can and apply the Rule of the Thirds as it is more pleasent to the eyes...hope you take my comment as constructive ones... cheers smile.gif

Genting,
You should take note on both the dinosaurs wording shots.....the composition should have carefully thought of......don't waste it like as you are those tourist snapshot it for fun......
The first one should have avoid the shed...but include the dinosaur's nose...
The second one, very obviously cropped the wording....hence the meaning is not there....you can see you left too much space at the bottom....did you shoot with your lcd viewfinder or how...?? smile.gif
