Why this specific W223 S580e always broke down?

S580e's has issue and globally it has a recall. Not sure if Malaysia is part of the recall as well.

I’m a w223 owner, but mine is the non-hybrid S450L. So far so good. Don’t touch hybrid if possible… a lot of issues, sadly.

Only advice from what i heard from few rich dudes.. Dont buy any Continentals hybrids really a headache, if die die want to get hybrid go for Toyota/Lexus.

Currently their advise, either go full EV or normal ICE for Conti's.

My friends family bought this 2 months ago. So SA kinda put proper handover, put ribbon on the delivery date. When switch on, hybrid battery malfunction pop up on meter, so delay the delivery date. Good for Mercedes Malaysia, they straight find courtesy car to use, in his case almost new E-class.

After 1 month delay, take the car, so checking thoroughly found water moisture inside headlamp. Another 2 weeks delay. CKD prob?

Yes, it's not the SA's fault but it is a new vehicle leh and it's already defective during the handover. Plus with me doing my Pre Registration Inspection, I terus reject on the spot.

Cannot imagine what other faults will be discovered after the handover.

For me, before registration, it must be already perfect and everything in working condition, Itu baru betul. If tak betul, the SA must do the necessary to return the vehicle back to the factory to be rectified. Like this, can only imply that QC at the factory is really kanasai.

If during handover everything was in perfect working condition, then when problems appear after a period of time it's understandable or it's possible to even blame it's due to owner's negligence. This pulak problems already during handover. Sincerely I find it hard to believe it's this is even happening to a well known established brand. Macam tunggu lingkup business aje.
