Looking to move out of AEON.. I have GX Bank which will be my default choice. Is Boost worth a look? Sorry, just being lazy here!

Now it's either Rize or GX Bank as the best choice

Aeon & GXB both offer 3% so I'm contemplating if I should even maintain Aeon or just close the account as GXB more stable.

There's a professional way of putting this, let me try. (But yeah, I understand what you are trying to say)
Both Rize and AEONBank created products to cater to their targeted customer segment. (or similar market segment whatever it maybe) And this segment likely has a preference for Islamic banking products.

As one member pointed out - at the end the ultimate goal for the customer is to maximise the returns to themselves. (Whatever product that he/she chosen) And the customer has in mind what those returns means.


In my opinion, for stability then GxBank wins. Actually for AEONBank now, you will never obtain true 3% returns on the assumption that you need to keep a min RM20 and obtain 0.88% and everything else in the pot to get 3.0%. At best, the total return will come very close to 3% but never 3%.

I got this problem with Aeon bank, as interest has been dropped to 3%, i started moving out my fund to others banks since yesterday, today i move another 50k out, but i couldn't proceed it, Aeon sent a sms telling me of unusual activity and put on hole\d. the Sum is well within my set limit.
Anyone got this problem? I believe many ppls will transfer fund out of Aeon since yesterday, to me it is like they are "stopping" me from moving fund out.

But in your case, total 100k in 2 days period... Somehow they suspecting illegal transaction done....

I had a feeling this will happen, so what I did was slowly transfer out on 31st Aug since everyone would be exiting on 1st sept , and exit in smaller amounts

limitation is 10k transfer per day

yeah i just realized 10k per day so at the end stay with kdi

I park maximum 9.5k in TNG Go. 3.45% for now.
Still deciding where to place the remaining balance - Rize or ASB or Versa.

boost 4% is ok , but then the daily limit really trash.. max 10k/day.. that's why many people not interested

i wanted to join boost bank until found out the daily limit..

ASB wins hand down typically...
