Hi all,

I will be having a virtual interview soon with a company that is in the same industry.

Would like some advice on what are the do’s and don’t when a hiring manager is asking about why you’re leaving your current position 😊

don't ever talk bad about your current company. You can state other reasons for leaving such as want to learn new things or seeking for better pay.

Other than that, research the company you're interviewing for and find out what is the thing that you like from that company. And explain that you want to leave your current company because you are seeking for this one thing that you like from that company. Example, if the company's location is nearer to your house, you can use that as your reason to leave the current company, to save time and cost of commuting
