Hi. My laptop lenovo ideapad is running windows 10. Suddenly after update, calculator app opens up non stop. Uninstalling the app results in another window opening saying to look for a program online.

Has anyone encountered a similar situation and the fix?

Yes. Mulltiple times. Even updated windows and it still happens. I am an admin and when i try to run cmd and enter a prompt, it says i am not an admin.

Thought so too but disabled all hotkeys and problem still there.

Rolling back resulted in the same thing. I cant risk reformatting. But this is the issue, its on youtube and sorry to use up your data if you decide to watch it:

Try going into safe mode and see if this still happen. If it is ok in safe mode then there could be some user installed software that make this happen. try disable all start up program in task manager.

Thank you. Did that and problem still was there. Calculator tried to open non stop. So i re installed windows along while keeping all personal files and ditching all programs that didn't come pre installed. Problem solved. Able to pay socso and epf.

Suddenly calculator opened. I thought problem was solved. But im going to close thread anyway. Thank you for all the help/insights
