If you earn SGD10k nett.... which is about SGD12.5k gross...

You can take home quite a lot for a single person...

SGD2.5k goes to accommodation... which could get you a nice studio apartment

SGD2.5k goes to all other expenses including makan.... which is actually quite nice budget...


Take home SGD5k.... that is RM17k liao....


Imagine every month saving RM17k... brows.gif brows.gif



If Malaysia equivalent... if you earn RM20k gross.... take home only RM14k jer....

RM2.5k goes to accommodation... nice studio service apartment...

RM4k goes to all other expenses including makan... which is a comfortable budget....


Can save RM7.5k jer... sad.gif sad.gif


That is considering you don't want to vroom vroom... otherwise... not sure got RM5k savings or not unless you opt for <RM100k cars...
