People who switched from iPhone to Android, then back to iPhone due to the camera; you know you can use the iPhone for camera and the Android as your main device, right?
Or better yet, buy a separate mirrorless camera for a fraction of a new iPhone. Even better.

As someone who supports FOSS and actually owning the stuff you bought, the only choice for me is Android.
I could freely install GrapheneOS or LineageOS on my Android phone, even if Samsung and Google would make it a living hell doing so. I can't do that on an Apple device.
I also believe in using dedicated devices for separate functions i.e. actual camera for camera, Walkman (plus DAC) for my music, and computer for gaming/programming.
I realize people would think I sacrifice convenience i.e. not having all these function in one device, but I view it the other way; I am in control of what I consume.
In this regard, Android is the much lesser evil than iDevices.
